Every time I try and email something to my printer, the printer always tries to print from photo paper tray. I have changed the preferences to letter paper and it still tries for photo paper tray. Is it always going to try to print an image I email to photo paper? Just want all emails no matter what they are to be on plain paper. Haven't tried a plain document.

Hi,

The default settinsg for eprint (emailed content) is to print photos on 4x6 photo paper and all other documents on plain paper. These defaults cannot be changed.

If you want the emails to be on plain paper, try including  any  photos in the body of the email (copy and paste them into the body of the mail) as opposed to an attachment.

For more felxability in terms of print options if you are within wifi range of the printer is to download the hp eprint app and print from within the app or try to print from a laptop/desktop PC.
