Hi @JohnnyESPO,

Welcome to HP Support Community!

We noticed that this thread hasn't had any updates in a while since your original post; while this is rare, we didn't want this post to remain unanswered, so here's the solution to your query. We hope it helps you and everyone viewing this post 😊

The HP LaserJet MFP M527 does not natively support direct Universal Print registration. However, you can still connect it to Azure using the Microsoft Universal Print Connector.

Step 1: Prepare the Printer

  • Ensure the M527 is installed and working on a Windows 10/11 PC that will act as the connector host.
  • The PC must always be on or reliably available when users need to print.

Step 2: Install the Universal Print Connector

  1. Download the Universal Print Connector from Microsoft:
  2. Install it on the PC where the M527 is installed.
  3. Sign in with an Azure AD account that has Global Administrator or Printer Administrator rights.

Step 3: Register the Printer

  1. Open the Universal Print Connector app.
  2. Select the HP LaserJet MFP M527 from the list of available printers.
  3. Click Register.
  4. Wait for the printer to appear in the Azure Universal Print portal.
