I have an Amazon Fire HD 8. I used a tutorial I found online to make it work with Google playstore. I have an HP deskjet 3700 all-in-one printer. I have downloaded HP Smart Print and the HP plugin, both from Google playstore. I followed all instructions for set-up/ connecting. Both the tablet and the printer are connected to my wifi. The problems is that my tablet is not able to find the printer. I was unable to find anything helpful in HP troubleshooting. I have tried turning things off, then on again. I tried reinstalling things on the tablet. I cannot figure out what the problem is and I don't know much about how these things work. Any Help would be HUGELY appreciated! I have had nothing but problems with the printer since I got it over a year ago. I have hardly been able to use it at all. I still have the original in cartridges in it. I was able to use it a few times with a laptop (which is now dead), but then it didn't work with that either. It will perfectly print out troubleshooting pages (by just pushing the buttons on the printer itself), but it seems to have an anti-social personality disorder, because it doesn't like to work with any other devices!!! Please, oh please help! I homeschool ( even before quarantine) and now that I can't get to the library to print I need this thing to work!

@TeresaTreat, Welcome to HP Support Community!
I see that you're unable to print from your Amazon tablet, follow the steps below-
Clear data from the Amazon Fire OS Print Spooler cache
Sometimes clearing the Amazon Fire OS Print Spooler cache can resolve the issue.
-
On your Amazon Fire device, tap the Settings icon
, select Apps and Games, and then Manage All Applications.
-
Swipe left to view the All option.
A list of applications displays.
-
Scroll down the list, and then select Print Spooler.
-
Select Clear Data.
-
Try to print.
-
If you can print, you can stop troubleshooting.
-
If you cannot print, turn off and then turn on your Amazon Fire device. Restarting your device might clear the error.
-
Refer to the document HP Printers - Printing from Amazon Fire Devices for help.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
