Product: Deskjet 2540

I've lost the password for my printer, and all of my devices never saved the password. I've tried holding down the wifi and the black ink symbol on the printer and when the password was printed off, I entered it and it wouldnt accept it. How else can I find out the password?

You need to print off the Network Config sheet for your password.

 

Print network configuration page.


The network configuration page will display the network status, hostname, network name, and more.


Press the Wireless button and the Start Copy Black button from the printer control panel at the same time.

 

Cut it out and tape it to the top of your printer.

Well sounds like your printer failed.  Try this.

 

With the power on, unplug the unit from the wall outlet.  Wait 10 mins.  Plug the unit back into the wall outlet not using any power strip or surge protector.  Power the unit up if it does not.  Status now?
