Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

As I understand you need notifications about the ePrinter status,

No worries as I'd love to help, however, I need a few more details to provide an accurate solution:

Did you attempt to check the notification section on the hp connected account?

Have you been receiving any such updates previously?

while you answer to my query, here are a few things you should know:

I'm afraid there are no such advance message or notification system available as such,

however, when you sent a print job to the printer and there's an error you will be notified during the print and you could fix the issue at that time.

I hope that answers your questions and helps,

If I have helped you resolve the issue, feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon below,

Followed by clicking on "Accept as solution" from the drop-down menu on the upper right corner,

Thank you for posting in the HP Support Forum.  Have a great day!

I receive a notice on my Samsung Galaxy GS5 smartphone when the wireless 6978 printer is done with a job or if there is a problem (job done, out of paper, paper jam, etc.), however, the notification page is blank except for : upper left -- 'notification', upper right -- 'done', & bottom middle -- clear, but there are no actual notifications from the printer?
Any help would be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Ed

P.S. Do you still send out printer sample packs with of some of the printer papers, etc that are available to try on my printer? If so, could you send me one of the printer sample packages to try out on my 6978 printer?

Greetings @EddieLITH

Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are getting notifications on your phone when you print and you are looking to disable it, is that right.

May I know the procedure you are using to print from your phone? Click here to know about the mobile printing solutions available.

Would it be possible to provide a screenshot of the issue or the notification you are looking to disable?

I am not aware for any sample packages, request you to contact our phone support to check on any sample packages.

Request you to provide more information for me to be able to assist you.

No, I'm getting a message that there are notifications available from my wireless printer , but when I click on the notification message, the notification page is always blank. The page is labeled 'notifications', but there are no notifications listed?
I'm using ePrint with the latest 'patch' , but when I get a notification available message & click on it, it's always empty wether it is (I'm assuming) 'print complered' or 'paper jam', the notification page that I get on my phone is always blank!

@EddieLITH

It looks like you were interacting with @Chimney_83, but he is out for the day & I'll be glad to help you out,

I appreciate the clarifications & I recommend you attempt to reinstall the application on your phone as that could be causing the error.

Also, if you have issues with printing, perhaps, you could try with a different phone or a computer and let me know if that works.
