HP 4502
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I purchased this off a friend not too long ago, he set it up on my computer, we tested it, it woked fine. I turned it off as I was not using it, went to turn it on and I recieve the error code OXC4EB8247F HWLMICCI2 C blinking on the screen. I searched your website! Tried plugging it into the wall outlet instead of the extension. Also tried unplugging all cords and waiting for the desginated time and then re-plugging it back in. I tried running the scan doctor that is available. I cannot check to see that the printer is connected, and it will not turn off manually anymore. Only a hard reset. What does this code mean? Why is my printer all of a sudden acting up, when it was fine not that long ago?

Hello there! Welcome to the HP Community @KelseaC🙂

I came across your post about your Envy 4502 showing a "0x" error code, and wanted to reach out. From my own personal experience, the error usually means there is an internal failure within the printer, such as an ink system failure, or general hardware failure. You have tried all of the troubleshooting steps according to your message, and the next route to go would be to call phone support directly to discuss replacing or trading in the printer.
