I just wanted to post hoping that someone from HP would see this.  I have been using Instant Ink subscription and just had a suggestion.  Please stop waiting until there is less than 30% ink left to ship cartridges.  If we have heavy printing for a few days at this point, we will run out of ink before the new cartridges arrive.  So, that goes against your advertising of "never run out of ink again."  Please consider changing your policy to ship ink cartridges when cartridges are installed.    Thanks!!

I print about 150 - 200 pages a month, I get cartridges sometimes well before mine are done, currently I have 2 boxes of cartridges sitting here not installed yet,

I understand you are out of ink and you are in need of the replacement ink cartridges.

 

Is your printer connected to the internet all the time?

 

Have you registered in the instant ink services?

 

Also, I understand your concern and situation you are into. So don't worry I'll try to help you out.

 

If the printer is not connected to the internet all the time the ink status won't get updated and you will have a delay in the ink shipment.

 

If you have not received the replacement ink cartridges yet. Please share out few details in a private message, so I can check your account details and initiate an order to ship you the replacement ink

cartridges.

Do you need black or colour ink cartridges?

Obviously this was an auto response and you did not read the post.  That is quite disappointing.  My printer is always connected to the internet and I am not out of ink yet.  I was just stating that cartridges should be sent as soon as they are replaced so we will always have replacements on hand.  My last shipment did not even include a black cartridge or return envelope.  HP needs to get it together and on top of this.

I understand your concern and situation. But as the ink is shipped using a standard shipment there might be a delay.

 

HP will send you replacement cartridges before you run out of ink. When your enrolled printer is connected to the Internet, your printer automatically orders ink for you because it knows when you are low on ink. Cartridges are sent using standard shipping, so they might take up to 10 business days to arrive, however, your printer will take shipping time and regular ink usage into account when it orders your ink. Customers with high volume print needs may call Support.
