I was blocked from entering the "Secure Sections" of the Embedded Web Server: https://192.168.0.224/#
HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One
Embedded Web Server = https://192.168.0.224/#hId-pgAdminSettings [Settings>Security>Administrator Settings ]

This server could not prove that it is 192.168.0.224; its security certificate is not trusted by your computer's operating system. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection.

I was disconnected or my admin login was disabled by an HP Tech Support agent because they could not figure out how to make the Embedded Web Server "Secure" , even after I directed them to the following web site after about 20 minutes watching him repeat the sames steps over and over again: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95617?visit_id=1-636406939945706821-1093707371&p=ui_securit...
Dangerous Not secure or Dangerous
We suggest you don't enter any private or personal information on this page. If possible, don't use the site.
Not secure: Proceed with caution. Something is severely wrong with the privacy of this site’s connection. Someone might be able to see the information you send or get through this site.
You might see a "Login not secure" or "Payment not secure" message.
Dangerous: Avoid this site. If you see a full-page red warning screen, the site has been flagged as unsafe by Safe Browsing. Using the site will likely put your private information at risk.
After completing dismissing my advice I was told to simply ignore the Warning. Being a former IT Tech Support for a major environment agency I found this unacceptable, but didn't persue the issue any further until now several months later. I am actually surprised to see that it is still an issue. I can't believe that I am the only customer who has this problem, and yet it remains unsolved. The resolution I found most promising was to obtain a better site certificate from you guys.

I think I may have found it. I added two or three Extensions in Chome for my printer, and by default the printer shows up in the Flash section as disabled. OK, wish me luck.....

- If the error mentions SHA-1, ask the site owner to update the site's certificate. Learn more about why SHA-1 isn't supported.
- If the error mentions HSTS, privacy certificates, or invalid names, try the tips below:
Wi-Fi networks at places like cafes or airports need you to sign in. To see the sign-in page, visit a page that uses http://.
- Go to any website starting with http://, like http://example.com.
- On the sign-in page that opens, sign in to use the Internet.
Open the webpage you were visiting in an incognito window.
If the page opens, a Chrome extension is causing the error. To fix the error, turn off the extension. Learn how to turn off Chrome extensions.
Step 3: Update your operating systemMake sure your device is up-to-date on Windows, Mac, or another operating system.
Step 4: Temporarily turn off your antivirusYou'll see this error if you have antivirus software that provides "HTTPS protection" or "HTTPS scanning." The antivirus is preventing Chrome from providing security.
To fix the problem, turn off your antivirus software. If the webpage works after turning off the software, turn off this software when you use secure sites.
Remember to turn your antivirus program back on when you're done.
Step 5: Get extra helpIf you still see the error, contact the website owner. You can also get more help on the Chrome Help Forum.

Disabled 3 HP Print related extinctions in Chrome, but no change. Disabled all extinctions and still no change. I have bitdefender as my antivirus, but I get the same error on my recently purchased Dell laptop using microsofts Windows Defender.
