Hello, the options on this HP Smart App (Android/app has been updated) screen are invisible (almost). You can still technically choose exactly what you need due to the slight shadow on the toggle circle, but the font color is white on white. Is this a known issue/known solution? It has been this way for maybe 2-3 months now.

Yes, this appears to be a UI bug in the HP Smart App for Android, likely caused by an issue with dark mode or a recent update. Here are some potential solutions:

Fixes to Try:

Toggle Dark Mode

  • If your phone is set to dark mode, try switching it to light mode in system settings.
  • On some devices, the HP Smart app doesn't handle dark mode properly.

Clear App Cache & Data

  • Go to Settings > Apps > HP Smart > Storage & Cache
  • Tap Clear Cache, then Clear Data (this will reset app preferences).

Check for App Updates

  • Go to the Google Play Store, search for HP Smart, and check for updates.

Reinstall the App

  • Uninstall HP Smart and reinstall it from the Play Store.

Use HP Smart Web Version

I appreciate the response. The issue seems to have been resolved without me performing those steps, so I assume some sort of update took place that corrected the issue. Thank you!
