Please can someone help?
We bought an HP Smart Tank 5105 and after connecting it to our home WIFI we printed test pages from both our Windows laptops and also our iPhones but now can only print from laptops.
When we select the print option on our mobiles, we can choose the printer, but then message is displayed saying that the printer is busy.
However, when we check the print queue on the laptop, it is empty.
Also checked the settings on the printer and it says Airprint is on. Any tips, please?

- Restart Devices: Power cycle your iPhone and printer. Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
- Check Network Connection: Ensure that your iPhone and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Sometimes devices can be connected to different networks or Wi-Fi bands (e.g., 2.4 GHz vs. 5 GHz).
- Update iOS and HP Smart App: Make sure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS and that the HP Smart app is updated to the latest version from the App Store.
- Reinstall HP Smart App: Try deleting and reinstalling the HP Smart app on your iPhone. This can help reset any issues with the app itself.
- Re-add Printer in HP Smart App: Open the HP Smart app, remove the printer, and then add it again. This might help reestablish the connection between your iPhone and the printer.
- Printer Firmware Update: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP Smart Tank 5105 printer. Sometimes updating the printer’s firmware can resolve compatibility issues. Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Reset Printer Network Settings: If the above steps don’t work, you might want to reset the network settings on your printer and reconnect it to Wi-Fi. Refer to your printer’s manual for instructions on how to perform a network reset.
