Hi,
When you open the document with HP Smart and see the print preview with the blue Print button below, swipe up the lower section to get additional options.
Click on Page Range and select which page you want to print.
To better illustrate my intention, here is a screenshot from my iPhone, the options are shown when swiping up the area marked in green:
It may not be exactly the same on the iPad but should be very similar.
