I have a HP Envy 5530 printer.  It was connected to HP Connected.  I have the wireless connection set up but cannot print.  I get the message "not connected to HP Connected"  I had purchased a new HP printer a week ago since I  could not get the old printer running. How can I get rid of the HP connected from the printer. Any Solution?

This older printer is ePrint capable.

Connectivity (facet)Apple AirPrint™; HP ePrint; Mopria™; USB; Wireless (Wi-Fi®); Wireless direct printing

HP Smart / HP Connected manages printers that are enabled for remote printing.

Remote printing and other similar services generally require that the printer be connected to the Internet.

Printers connect to the Internet (and ePrint) via Web Services.

ePrint must also be enabled in the printer / Embedded Web Server (EWS)

-- Note for those reading --

ePrint is older technology used for remote printing.

Newer eligible printers that are enabled for remote printing use Print Anywhere.
