My computer IP address and printerIP address do not match. Is that okay? if not what to do? Thanks.

Hi,
Normally they can't be the same on a same network but they must be on a same subnet (and same range) to be able to work.
For example:
(a) Computer IP 192.168.0.123
(b) Printer IP 192.168.0.234
