Hi,

I recently registered to instant ink, but now I ran out of black ink. I checked the delivery status page and I can't see any catridge coming. How can I check when will it be delivered?

Thanks!

@rcastrorangel,

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂 I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers. For you to have the best experience on the HP forum, you could also visit our HP Forums Guide for First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More. I understand you have a concern regarding your Instant Ink cartridges. Don't worry I'll be glad to help you.

Normally, the Instant Ink program would auto-detect the low ink and ship a replacement cartridge, only when the printer isn't constantly connected to the internet or there are connection issues, is when that doesn't happen.

Your HP Instant Ink account page contains the data on past deliveries and estimated shipments.

It also helps you understand what state your cartridges are in based on HP's data,

Any issues will be shown with its solution using a step by step approach, to make it easier for you!

Please check your account page to see the latest cartridge information by signing into your account at "instantink.com".

If the suggested information can't be found, You may respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly

Since the instant ink account details are confidential, please send me the required information via private message.

I have the exact same problem. I have been using Instant Ink since August 2017 yet my ink supply has come to a stand still. I'm completely out of black ink and when I login and check, there is no sign of HP being aware of the empty cartridge. What do I do? I am a teacher and rely on making my own copies for each day's lessons--Instant Ink has been perfect for what I need up until now. I'm in quite the bind for next week if I can't get this figured out quickly!

@Hustad_Abigail,

Thanks for engaging in HP support Forums! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips! I Understand you have a concern with the Instant ink cartridges. Don't worry we're here to help you.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

What is the product number of your printer? Use this link to find it:  https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03754824  (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).

As these are to do with the Instant ink cartridges, I would need to know few details regarding your instant ink account to help you get the ink cartridges sorted.

Since the instant ink account details are confidential, please send me the required information via private message.

I am having the exact same problem.   I'm starting to work on my taxes and need to print information from the banks, etc. and after 2 pages nothing is printing and am out of black ink.

I've checked my Instant ink account online and see no indication that a new black cartridge is being shipped.

Guess I'll go to the store to buy a new one - although this defeats the purpose of the "instant ink" program.

How do I go about getting another cartridge sent to me?

Hi Asmita,

My issue was already solved last year, I guess this thread can already be closed.
