Iphone 6 connection issues with hp officejet 200

My iPhone 6 will connect through wi-fi direct on the printer, but as soon as the connection is made, my iphone shows "no internet connection" for the wi-fi direct connection

Wi-Fi Direct provide direct wireless connections between your printer and a mobile device without a router. Once the printer and mobile device is connected using Wi-Fi direct, the printer and mobile device will not have an internet connection since the devices are not connected to a router. If you need the printer and mobile to have internet access, then you need to connect the printer and mobile device to your home WiFi instead of using a Wi-Fi direct connection. You may use steps 2 from this document, to connect the printer to a home WiFi network.

My phone does not recognize the printer is available.  I assumed the no internet connection message was related to that.  I am not looking for an internet connection, just trying to get my phone and printer to connect.  Can you help me with that?

It looks like you were interacting with @senan6806, but he is out for the day. I'm KrazyToad & I'm at your service. 

I suggest you perform a Network Reset and restart your iPhone

1. On the printer control panel, press the Home button ( ) to display the Home screen.

2. Select Setup, and then Network. To select a function on a screen, use the arrow button  to select it, and then press the OK button.

3. Select Restore Network Settings. A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored.

4. Choose Yes by pressing the button . The restoring starts. After a few seconds, a message appears stating that the network defaults have been restored

Restart your Phone and connect your Phone and Printer back using WiFi-Direct

1.Check if the printer turns on Wi-Fi Direct: ▲ On the printer control panel, press the Wi-Fi Direct button .

2. From your wireless computer or mobile device, turn on the wireless connection, and then search for and connect to the Wi-Fi Direct of your printer.

3. Enter the Wi-Fi Direct password when prompted
