New MFP M28w setup fine using HP Smart app, working great. 30 mins later, try to add it to the app on a second android device, can't be located. HP Print Service installed, all required permissions granted, connected to same SSID, logged into app with same HP account. Try a third android device to see if it's an issue with the second, same problem. Un-install and re-install HP Smart app on original android device, same problem. Reset printer to factory settings and set up again with original android device. All good. Try doing the same on a 4th android device, same problem. My first thought was perhaps the printer can only be linked to one device, but then I noticed that another model of printer, which I set up at a different address some time ago using the same HP account, is visible on 2 of the android devices (including the one that the printer is visible on). This disproved my initial suspicion (which seemed unlikely anyway).
Anyone suggest what the issue might be or how to resolve?

Looks like it is an issue with the web services for the printer. I would recommend you reach out to the HP Support in your region for remote assistance.
