Mobile Fax Not working

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your mobile fax. Let's try to resolve this together. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot the issue:

Check Fax Settings:

  • Ensure the fax number is correct and includes any necessary codes (e.g., area code, country code).
  • Lower the fax speed to standard or slow settings.
  • Enable Error Correction Mode to improve transmission success.

Run a Fax Test:

  • On the printer control panel, go to the Fax or Setup menu and select "Run Fax Test" or "Fax Test Report".
  • Review the report for any failed tests and follow the instructions to resolve the issues.

Check Connections:

  • Ensure the phone line is connected to the correct port (1-LINE) on the printer.
  • Verify that the phone line is working by connecting a phone to the wall jack and making a call.

Update Drivers:

  • Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. You can download them from the HP Support website.

Use HP Smart App:

  • Install the HP Smart app to manage your printer settings and troubleshoot issues. This app can help with setup and provide diagnostic tools
