Mobile printer

I bought a mobile printer for my truck so I can print estimates on the job. Will I be able to print from my laptop if the printer isn't hooked up to wifi?

1. Using a USB Connection:

   • Connect the Printer to Your Laptop: Use a USB cable to connect the HP OfficeJet 200 directly to your laptop.
   • Install Drivers: Ensure the necessary printer drivers are installed on your laptop. You can typically download these from the HP Support website if they aren't automatically installed.

2. Using Wi-Fi Direct:

   • Activate Wi-Fi Direct on the Printer: You can enable Wi-Fi Direct from the printer's control panel. This feature creates a direct wireless connection between your printer and your laptop.
   • Connect Your Laptop: On your laptop, go to the Wi-Fi settings and look for the printer's Wi-Fi Direct name. Connect to it as you would with any wireless network.
   • Print Documents: Once connected, print your estimates as you normally would. Your laptop will send print jobs directly to the printer without requiring a traditional Wi-Fi network.
