@JulesGraves

Welcome to the HP Community

I suggest you do a Hard Reset on the printer

(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.

(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.

Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Then, click on this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-deskjet-3630-all-in-one-printer-series/7172306/document/c034... and follow instruction for Changing from a USB to a Wireless Connection.

Keep me posted, how it goes!

Print the wireless test report and let me know the test results.

Press the Wireless button and the Information button ( ) together to run the wireless test

If the issue persists, To restore network settings to default settings

● Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.

Restart the printer.

Try connecting the printer back to the network.

Keep me posted, how it goes!

Have a great day!

Cheers:)

@JulesGraves,

I am replying on behalf of @Raj1788, as he is unavailable for the day.

  • The WiFi Router to which you are trying to connect is that a Dual-band Router(Router which has 2.4Ghz and 5GHz signals)?
    • If yes, do they have the same name for both the signals?

The printer model that you have, supports only 2.4Ghz network and is not compatible with the 5Ghz network.

So if you have a dual-band router with the same name or a router with an only 5Ghz network, then the printer may not connect.

Check the printer specifications from this link

If your Router is dual-band with the same name, try to provide separate names for the 2.4GHz and the 5GHz networks.

Connect your PC to the 2.4 GHz network and follow the instructions from this link to connect the printer to WiFi using USB.
