Hi @Deborah1955,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

When a printer stops printing after a Wi-Fi change, it usually means the printer and devices are no longer on the same network, or the printer’s IP address has changed. Here’s the troubleshooting path:

Step 1: Reconnect the Printer to the New Wi-Fi

  • On the printer’s control panel:
    • Go to Wireless Settings → Restore Network Defaults.
    • Then select Wireless Setup Wizard and connect to your new Wi-Fi network.
  • Ensure the Wi-Fi icon on the printer turns solid blue (connected).

Step 2: Update Printer Connection on Devices

  • On your phone and laptop, open the HP App
    • Remove the old printer entry.
    • Tap Add Printer and let it discover the printer on the new network.
  • If the printer doesn’t appear, enter its IP address (found under Wireless Details on the printer screen).

Step 3: Restart Everything

  • Power cycle your router, printer, and devices.
  • This refreshes network assignments.

Step 4: Test Printing

  • Print a Test Page from the HP app.
  • If it works, try printing your document again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
