Officejet 7612

I have a 7612 and I’m getting an error message that the wireless communication has stopped working.  I tried restoring factory settings but no luck. I found in other message boards comments about a "hard reset", but the instructions are always sent in a private message.  Can I please get a copy of the hard reset instructions to try on my printer?

@Nicmck34, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset, and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next  to your profile Name or simply click on this link

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

@Kumar0307 hey I'm having similar issues. I saw this wireless communications have been disabled error pop up, and honestly I've always had issues with this printer, but now I can't airprint from my phone but my bf who's connected to the same network via ethernet can print fine. I also can't access the url for embedded web server address, but he can.

I did a full hard reset and oob reset - no change.

I tried disabling adblocker, firewalls, and webroot anti virus...

Is there anything else I can do? I'm about ready to trash this.
