Hello, @MsMerideth – Greetings!

Thanks for your continued participation on the HP Forums!  It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel!

I understand that you are trying to print photos from your Android device and is having issues. I'd like help 🙂

Let's try installing the HP Smart app (Previously HP AiO Remote app) to print from your Android device. Go to Google Play Store and install the HP Smart app on your phone.

I found a wonderful document which will give you instructions on how to use this app. Please go through the steps here: http://hp.care/2sl1E5V

You can also try to install the HP ePrint App from the play store.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.

Cheers 🙂

Hello, @MsMerideth

Thanks for the update!

To assist you with this issue, I need to know whether the printer can make a "Photocopy" or not.

Place a document face down on the scanner glass and press the copy option on the printer control panel. Let me know if it makes a good copy or not.

Also, I need to know what is the paper size that you are using.

Alternatively, download and install the HP ePrint app and then try to print.

Let me know if that helps!

Good luck 🙂

acruelly since I was waiting awhile I entered my printer ip. Address into the browser and accessed the settings. Then I just ran aLL the print quality options including alignment.  Theno I was able to print the photo, finally.  But I don't understand how it could get so far out of whack when I hadn't used it for a cpurple of days & all the printing ive done this month looked fine.

So I guess I solved the issue on my own. Thanks so much for a all your help. Have a blessed day
