Hi @Elliexmay

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To print or scan to your phone from an HP printer, you can use the HP Smart app, which makes the process straightforward. Here’s how to do it:

Scanning to Phone

Download the HP Smart App:

  • For iOS: Go to the App Store and search for "HP Smart."
  • For Android: Go to Google Play and search for "HP Smart."

Connect Your Printer:

  • Open the HP Smart app and make sure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your printer.
  • Add your printer in the app if it’s not already listed.

Scan:

  • In the HP Smart app, tap on the Scan option.
  • Choose the type of scan you want (document, photo, etc.).
  • Place the document on the scanner bed and follow the prompts to scan. The scanned document will be saved on your phone.

Printing from Phone

Open the HP Smart App:

  • Make sure your printer is connected and selected in the app.

Select Document to Print:

  • Tap on the Print option.
  • Choose a document or photo from your phone’s gallery or other sources.

Adjust Print Settings:

  • Select the number of copies, paper size, and other settings as needed.

Print:

  • Tap the Print button to send the document to your printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
