Hi @Tinkerqueen32,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I hear that Corrupted driver files, an outdated HP application, or a misconfigured OS print service usually cause a missing or blank printer menu. Try fully uninstalling and reinstalling your printer driver, or switch to your operating system’s default print menu to bypass the HP app.

Follow these concrete steps to restore your print settings:

1. Switch to the OS Print Menu (Quick Bypass):

Often, using your system's built-in print interface instead of the HP app will get all your settings back:

  • Windows: Press Ctrl + P. On the print preview screen, look for a "Print using system dialog" or "More settings" link if the main menu is blank.

  • Mac: Press Cmd + P. If you only see a small, simplified window, click the Show Details button at the bottom to expand all advanced settings.

2. Uninstall and Reinstall the HP Driver:

If the driver is corrupted, the "More Settings" window will fail to load or appear empty.

  • Go to your computer's settings and remove the printer from Printers & Scanners (Windows) or Printers & Scanners (Mac).

  • Go to the Official HP® Support, enter your exact printer model, and download the latest driver package.

3. Check Default Print Services (If using a Phone/Tablet):

If you are printing from an Android device, ensure your default services haven't been disabled by an update:

  • Go to your phone Settings > Connected Devices > Connection preferences > Printing.

  • Tap on Default Print Service and HP Print Service Plugin, and make sure both are toggled ON

I hope this will help.

Take care and have a good day.

I'm an HP Employee.
