Hi,

I have been trying to enable web serives on the printer for a while now and it is stuck on connecting, refreshes and continues (has been left for over 10minutes), I have tried the following:

1. Factory Reset - Device

2. Rebooted Device few times

3. Device has been switched off for while and started again

4. Tested from HTTP and Printer Panel

5. Tested from LAN and Wifi

6. Tested using Static IP and DHCP

7. Tested on different Gateways and Internet connections

8. IPV6 is disabled, tested with enabled and disabled

9. Tried disabling bonjour

10. Followed steps from https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05337026

11. Also followed previous post: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/HP-Connected-Mobile-Printing-and-Cloud-Printing/web-services-setup-stu...

12. This printer had been setup previously on hpconnected, I have removed it from account, after factory reset

Thanks, in advance for any suggestions

A couple of ideas.

If you can put a phone in hotspot mode, then try to connect the printer to the phone and see if you connect.  I suspect somehow there is a firewall preventing the printer from contacting the HP service that registers the printer.  If you can register over the hotspot you will know there is something preventing the connection over the LAN.

If your network requires a proxy to get to the internet, then you will need to add a proxy on the printer to get it registered.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion however I have already tried this, this was one of the gateways tested. No I do not use proxy.

Kind Regards,
