UPDATE:

Printer is printing fine from a Windows laptop.

---------------

My perfectly fine functioning printer (HP Envy 4527) is suddenly not being found by my Chromebook, and it is essential that I get it working again because I have orders to print out for my business.

I recently changed my wifi details due to getting a new router (TP-Link). Everything else is working fine. My printer is obviously connected to the new wifi as is my Chromebook. The last time I changed wifi details, I got it to reconnect fine.

I can't add automatically because it doesn't show up.

I have tried to add manually using the IP address. IPP and IPPS mode, it won't find the printer. In HTTP and HTTPS mode, I just get told the printer is offline.

I tried factory reset on the printer, everything is up to date. I can't find any reason why it can't be found by any device when it is clearly there.

I can even see the printer in the list of devices within the router.

I thought I had deleted my post.

Anyway, the problem was caused by my new router. AP Isolation was turned on. As soon as I turned it off, the printer was found by my Chromebook and everything was back to normal.

It is probably worth leaving this thread up as someone might also need the same help at some point.
