Please help! HP Envy 5540 printer started to become temperamental and sometimes needed switching off and on again in order to be able to print but now cannot print at all as the printer is not recognising that there is any wifi available. I have followed the instructions to input the wireless network name and password and encryption type but that results in an error code (as shown below). Please help. I cannot currently buy a replacement printer so need to find how to correct this problem. This is not just an issue printing from mac desktop. We can not print from any device as the printer itself is not recognising our wifi. The wifi is via a BT home hub. Thank you

Hi @SKEEL,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are getting an error message on your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
We need to perform a Semi full reset to restore the printer back to its original settings.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
