Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

At work we have a HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one printer. When I do a "Wireless Network Test" Everything passes and is good. However, when I try to print from the computer it says the printer is offline when its on. I feel like I have tired everything and nothing is working.

@Lucyous, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

  • Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
  • This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. So, the PC should be on the 2.4GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
  • Restart the wireless router, the printer, and the PC
  • Try printing.

If the issue persists, install the printer using its IP address.

Make sure the printer is connected to the network.

  1. On the PC, go to Control panel > Devices and printers > Add a printer(at the top)
  2. Under 'Choose a device or printer', click on 'The printer I want isn't listed'.
  3. Select 'Add a printer using a TCP/IP address'
  4. Find the IP address of the printer by tapping on the wireless/ethernet icon on the printer screen
  5. Type in the 'IP address in Hostname or IP address' box, click next
  6. Proceed to the next steps by following the on-screen instructions.
  7. Try printing.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
