I have the ubiquitous question that doesn't seem to have an answer in FAQs. I set up a wireless network on my 7640 Smart Printer. Now I can't find my password. How do I change/recover this?

I understand you have issues connecting your printer to the wireless network.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any hardware or software changes on your PC?
Are you able to connect other devices to the same network?
As you mentioned when you connect your printer to the wireless network it is asking for the password.
Please try the steps recommended below.
Connect the printer to the wireless network
Use the Wireless Setup Wizard on the printer to connect it to your wireless network.

Turn on the printer.

On the printer control panel, touch the Wireless icon

Touch Wireless Setup Wizard.

Follow the instructions on the control panel to connect the printer to your wireless network.
Also, try the steps recommended below.

In Windows, search for and open view network connections from the list of search results.

Right-click the name of your network, and then click Status.

Click Wireless Properties.

Click the Security tab, and then select the Show characters check box to see the wireless network security key (your password).
If you are unable to find your password, contact your ISP for assistance.
If the issue persists try restoring the network settings to default and check if it helps.
On the printer control panel touch the wireless icon
Touch the settings icon
Select restore network settings
Select yes at the prompt.
