Hi @Baltofan,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP DeskJet Plus 4140 All-in-One Printer is having trouble completing the print job from your mobile phone despite being connected to Wi-Fi. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.

Check Printer and Phone Connection

  • Ensure that both your mobile phone and the printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Try restarting both your mobile phone and the printer.

Update HP Smart App

  • Make sure that you are using the latest version of the HP Smart app on your phone.
  • You can check for updates in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

Clear the Print Queue

  • If there are pending print jobs, it can cause a loop. Clear the print queue from both the app and your phone's printing settings.
  • Go to your phone's printing queue and cancel any stuck print jobs.

Reset Wi-Fi Connection

  • Try disconnecting the printer from Wi-Fi and reconnecting it:
    • On your printer, press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for 3 seconds. This will reset the wireless settings.
    • Reconnect your printer to Wi-Fi via the HP Smart app or directly from the printer’s control panel.

Test with Another Device

  • Try printing from another device (like a laptop or another phone) to check if the issue is with the phone or the printer.

Reinstall the HP Smart App

  • If the problem persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the HP Smart app on your mobile phone.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
