I have the missing or failed printhead message on my printer. I have gone through ALL of the troubleshooting tips I can find online from unplugging the printer and plugging it back in, making sure the software and drivers are up to date, and have taken the printhead completely apart and cleaning it. I am still getting the error. So I check the price at the HP parts store....$175 for a new printhead?! Seriously. I didn't even pay that for the entire printer. Ridiculous. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm at my wit's end and really need my printer for work.

@cmoore1210, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Since the device is out of warranty, and we've concluded that this is a hardware malfunction, I may have a few pointers/suggestions to help you out, however, since this suggestions are limited to you and your printer alone, I'd like to send out a private message with those details.
