How do you print a UPS label where it is not 8 1/2 x 11?  I am trying to print the label from my phone and there are no options to make it smaller.

Hi @Lisakg ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with printing a UPS label from your iPhone to your HP ENVY Photo 7858 in a size smaller than 8.5" x 11" can be tricky, but here are some steps to ensure it prints correctly:

Option 1: Use AirPrint with Custom Paper Size

  1. Check Paper Size: Load the correct paper size in your printer (e.g., 4" x 6" if printing a shipping label on label paper).
  2. Open the UPS Label: Open the label on your phone in the Files app, Safari, or Mail.
  3. Select Print: Tap the Share button (square with an upward arrow) and choose Print.
  4. Choose Your Printer: Select your HP ENVY Photo 7858.
  5. Check Paper Size Settings: AirPrint does not always let you change paper sizes, but try tapping Options and check if a different paper size is available.
  6. Print: If the label is not sized correctly, see Option 2 below.

Option 2: Print from the HP Smart App

  1. Open the HP Smart App (download it if you haven't).
  2. Load the UPS Label: Save the label as a PDF on your iPhone.
  3. Print from HP Smart: Open the PDF in the HP Smart app.
  4. Adjust Settings: Tap Print Settings, then select the appropriate paper size (e.g., 4" x 6").
  5. Print: Once the size looks correct, print the label.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
