hp Envy 5530

After a firmware update of my printer Envy 5530 to the latest version late October MS Word and MS PDF cuts the text horizontally with white stripes covering some part of the text. Printing is done from two different PC with the latest version of Windows 10. Printing an email from an iPhone has the same result. The preview of the text during the printing process shows the documents correct. Firmware is ORL1CN1933AR

@Margaret01, Welcome to HP Support Community!

To provide you with an accurate solution, I would like to know the following-

What is the Operating System installed on your computer?

Do you have the print quality issues when you make a photocopy on the printer?

Meanwhile, refer to the document Fixing Poor Print Quality for help.

Keep me posted.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
