Hello, since the last update of the operating system on my iPhone 17 (iOS 26.2.1) I have not been able to air print on my HP M110we. All my other devices air print fine. When I attempt to print using the iPhone 17, the printer does appear on the screen, however the « print » button is grayed out. I’ve tried the usual remedies: restarting, checking that my HP software is up to date, etc. Nothing. This has gone on for a couple of weeks.

Hello and thank you. I have found a resolution of sorts. It seems that my VPN (Norton)  was impeding printing. By temporarily turning off the VPN  when I have to print (easy enough with the app) the problem is solved.

Welcome to the HP Community --

Perhaps add this to the list of oddities in the 26.2.1 Update.

For those of us impacted in different ways, this update has been a ride on the weird side.

---------------------------------------------

My iPad 12.9 is not exhibiting this particular issue.  Of course, that means nothing, in fact.

The information I'm reading suggests that any iOS issues -- if they are related to the Update -- are varied in nature.

I looked up the following information.

iOS 26.2.1 breaks Airprint

Simple AI Answer

Many users have reported that AirPrint stopped working after updating to iOS 26.2.1, with issues ranging from printers not being found to print jobs failing. To resolve this, try restarting your printer and router, and ensure your printer's firmware is up to date.

The AirPrint issue might predate the very latest iOS version.

Fixed: AirPrint Not Working on iPhone or iPad After Updating to iOS 26

The advice in the article seems reasonable.

-- Note --

The Firmware for your printer has not released a new update since April 2025 - perhaps skip the step to update Firmware.

-- What else? --

One thing not mentioned in the AirPrint article:

Your printer is one of the unusual "we" models --

The printer must always be connected to the Internet.

The printer connects to the Internet using Web Services.

I am not suggesting your printer is not connected to the Internet.

I am suggesting you check.

Possibly related though the video is older than the recent AirPrint issues with iOS version 26.x

You are welcome.

Good catch.

Yes, switching OFF your VPN is near the top of the "do this" requirements.

Oddly, it's apparently no longer an obvious entry in the documentation.

Happy Printing.
