ePrint

Printing using the ePrint service worked 90% of the time, but every now and then emails (with an attached PDF) were not accepted by the service. This was obvious as I also did not receive an ePrint confirmation email when in this case.

The problem was not related to the size of the PDF as those are always around 20KB. The format of the mail (address, no text, etc) was the same for all mails. I suspect an additional scan from the HP service somehow flagged the email as either spam or containing a virus or something as the same PDF was never accepted, no matter how many times I would mail it (even using different accounts).

Long story short: I went into the (www.hpconnected.com) settings, switched the printer from 'open' access to 'allowed' and white listed the email address. Now everything works without issues.

Just sharing as I did not find this tip anywhere in the docs or on the forum, but the processing changes depending on the access type.
