My HP printer will not print w my S23 mobile phone. It works fine w Chrome book. Everyone compaining about the same issues. I have rebooted, reinstalled, cleared cache,  says connected..something has changed in the HP app or android upgrade to prevent the print connection. Instead messages come up that the file is corrupt from email and it doesn't matter which file it is from email or it doesn't recognize the printer or it appears to be printing based on the phone icon and the notifications but nothing ever comes out. I attached some pictures. HP was of no help st all. They just want you to buy a new printer. Even those w new printer's are having the same problems. My printers works perfect w all my laptops, and until something changed. I'd appreciate any help.

Hi @LRL1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are facing an issue with printing from your android phone to your printer.

To understand the issue and help you, please share the details listed below:

- Exact model number/product number(SKU number) of your HP Product (Click herefor information on how to find the model number/product number).

- May I know which application are you using to print?

- When was the last time your printer was connected to your phone or working fine?

- Were there any changes made to your printer recently?

Note: Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

Take care and have a great day ahead!

Hello Irwin,

I just saw this. I thought I would get an email response.

Model M277dw

SN VNB8H5K83J

Only happens when printing with **bleep** on a  Mobile device S23plus. **bleep** will also not print from the Web. Absolutely no problems printing from my two windows 11 laptops or a Chromebook. It prints fax notifications. The problem started slowly about a month or two ago but you were able to reboot your phone and the printer and clear the cachet and then it would start printing again for a while and then the problem was start again then you would do the same routine again. Then it progressively got worse where it may print one page and that's it. Sometimes it says that it's printing with a printer icon and in the notification area says it's printing, but nothing Prints. Or it will say on the printer panel that the file is corrupt but it'll say that for any file coming from **bleep** and I can print any one of those files from my laptop so they're not corrupt. It says that the printer is connected to my Wi-Fi, on all the apps I've tried  or uninstalled and reinstalled. There are a ton of people complaining about the same exact problem and they have new printers. Any feedback or help would be greatly appreciated. Just don't say that it's because the printer is older, because there's a many people complaining about the same thing with brand new printers, and the printer works perfectly with all my laptops.

Hi @LRL1,

Thank you for sharing the above information.

Please follow the steps below to fix the issue.

A) Perform a power drain.

1) Take out the cartridges

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Remove the cartridges > Unplug the power cord > Wait for 30 seconds > Plug the power cord back in > Insert the cartridges

B) Kindly refer to the steps on this link to update the printer firmware and let me know if that resolves the issue.

C) If the issue still persists, uninstall the printer software by following the steps from this link and restart the devices.

D) Install the printer software by clicking on the link again and let me know if that resolves the issue.

Note: Enable Bluetooth for an HP Smart app setup: Enable Bluetooth on your computer or mobile device so that HP Smart can detect the printer during the setup.

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day
