Setting up new printer. HP smart asks for password for printer. Where do I find it?

Setting up a new hp 5255 printer.  Trying to set up hp smart print.  iPad set up is asking for password for the printer.  Where do I find that info?

Hi,

Have you connected your printer and the other device to your home network?

 

If not, follow below steps to connect your printer using its Wireless Setup Wizard:

If you may would like to print wirelessly without a router, follow below steps to connect using Wi-Fi Direct and locating its password:
