All in One model SNPRC-1501-01

We just changed internet providers and trying to update our printer. Using the printer wizard, I choose the correct new wireless connection name, then try to enter our password. My password is 9 digits long, and it stops accepting after 5 are entered, bouncing me back to the main screen. How can I enter the complete password to complete this process.  Thanks!

@KimberleyMM
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

First, let's perform Hard Reset on the printer:

(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.

(devil) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

(music) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.

Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Next: Use this link to update firmware and restart your printer, this should fix the issue

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
