Unable to replace paper tray on printer 9010

I removed paper tray to clear a jam but now am unable to replace the tray.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the paper tray. 

Please try these steps to reinsert the input tray -

1.) Load plain white paper into the input tray with the short edge forward and the print side down.

2.) Slide in the paper width guides in until they rest against the edges of the paper.

3.) Insert the input tray into the printer.

4.) On the printer control panel, touch OK.
