I am trying to figure out how I can print from my mobile phone while away from my home WiFi network. It works fine when I am at home but when away from my home HP Eprint shows my printer but it is greyed out and when I attmept to print it says it cannot find the printer. yet it shows it greyed out.
Any help would surely be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help

>>> However, when I am not at home, and away, when I attempt to print a document from my Android phone, my printer is greyed out and I cannot print a document.
I said few times: When away from home, you have to send an email to its email address and it will print. Please read above replies. (Same for phones, tablets, computers).
For example: My printer is in my house which is in Melbourne Australia and I'm travelling in Singapore. If I wish to print something at home, I simply send an email to my printer at home and it will print.
Regards.

Your printer has its email address, just touch to HP ePrint icon on its control panel and it will show what it is. You can change to a new (available, anything before @) email address for easy to remember.

You then can send any supported file formats to its email address from anywhere in the world (with internet connection) and it will print.
Regards.

Thank you for your reply. I found the printer email address.
I attempted to Activate my Android mobile phone to use my HP EPrint but to no avail. It asks for my e-mail address to send me a code. I enter the code on my phone but it still does not allow me to print away from my home. My printer is greyed out.
Sorry if I am not understanding what I need to do to either my printer at home or my mobile phone to make them connect.
Thanks you for your patience

Printer email address should be xxxxxxx@hpeprint.com (xxxxxxx is unique for your printer). Now you can send an email to that email addrees (similar to send email to someone) with supported file formats, it will print.
Supported file formats are
- MS Word document
- MS PowerPoint presentation
- MS Outlook document
- Image file (JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, TIFF)
- Adobe Acrobat file (PDFs)
- Text file and Rich Text Format (RTF)
- HTML file

When I attempt to print a document while I am at home, I can print it from my Android phone to the printer. However, when I am not at home, and away, when I attempt to print a document from my Android phone, my printer is greyed out and I cannot print a document.
Is there anything I need to do on my Android phone so it will be able to print a document.
Thank you in advance

Thanks so much for all of your help. I got it now. One other question if you can answer it. I only have one printer in my home. Yet for some reason my Android shows 3 or 4 different printers. Do you know how I can delete printers that I do not have on my android phone.
