HP Envy 7640.  Has been working for 3 years.  Today I go to scan to email and I get a message "server problem"  rebooted printer, router, and wireless access point.  No fix.  Confirmed printer is connected to internet and all devices in the house are connected and work.  I can access the embed web server.  The error message under the web services tab is

The printer could not connect to Web Services.  Web Services might be busy or temporarily unavailable. Try again later.

Yes, you will have to wait ...

What?

Web Services is apparently down in at least one region (or partial region) - it does this sometimes.

I have reported the issue to the moderators.

Having reported the issue does not mean there is an instant fix available.

The problem will be investigated for us.

Meanwhile, there is naught to do but wait it out.

What else?

Scan and save the document / image to your computer / device

Open your mail and attach the file - send it to the recipients.

and

We Wait... try again at a later time.
