I have Hp pavilion gaming 15

I want it to utilize itself to fullest 100% CPU bcz it makes my task complete faster ( am using it to run iterations)

When i Plug in Cpu doesn't utilize itself to fullest. BUT When i plug out it gives me full performance

Am kinda confused. I want it to run 100% even when its plugged in

I checked all battery settings it's on high performance

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is not utilized 100% when the charger is connected.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

I would like to inform you that the utilization of the CPU depends on the tasks running on the computer and it is automatically decided by the operating system based on the load.

 

Having said that, I recommend update the BIOS and graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.

Hi,

 Yeah i updated all drivers

the problem is still the same. A few programs require full usage like ANSYS. But when i plug in it goes to 36% with 0.79ghz clock. But when i plug out it goes to 100. 95 with much more ghz.

The problem is still the same in normal usage, too

what might be the issue?

I recommend you contact support to further diagnose the issue.

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
