@SusanR414, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the HP Tango printer.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. We hope our assistance has been helpful!

If your HP Tango printer has stopped working and is displaying a constant yellow light, it could be indicating an error related to the ink cartridge. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you resolve this issue:

  1. Check the Ink Cartridge:
  2. Open the ink cartridge access door.
  3. Verify if the cartridge is installed correctly. If it's not, remove and reinstall it.
  4. Make sure that you've removed any protective tape from the cartridge.
  5. Examine the cartridge for any visible damage.

  6. Close the Ink Door:

  7. Ensure the ink access door is closed securely. A partially open door can cause the printer to display an error light.

  8. Turn the Printer Off and On:

  9. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  10. Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

  11. Check for Paper Jams:

  12. Open all compartments and check for any jammed paper or debris inside the printer.

  13. Use Genuine HP Cartridges:

  14. Ensure you are using genuine HP ink cartridges. Non-HP cartridges can cause functionality issues.

I hope this helps!

Take care and have an amazing day!
