don't remember printer personal password

I have a new Wi-Fi system I cannot connect to it because the printer wants me to put in a password I had created for it the issue is I do not remember the password. This is not the password for the Wi-Fi I'm talking about the password for the printer itself

I understand you are unable to remember the printer password. Please try the below steps to factory reset the Desk jet printers.

• Unplug the power cord from the printer, when the printer is on.
• Leave the printer for 30sec
• Press and hold the power button and the cancel button at the same time, and plug the power chord in the printer. 
• Once the printer is turned on, leave the button.

Thank you for posting.
 

I believe you are trying to connect to the Wi-Fi direct network of the printer and it's asking for the Wi-Fi direct password. 

Try the default password as 12345678.

HELP, I tryed that and still nothing. It said is i made my own password

ok i finaly connected directly, but I want the wifi to be permanent, from every computer in the house  the wifi light goes off on the printer after a while and its not actually connected to the mesh network

Firstly let's restore network defaults: 

Restore the network settings to default settings to reset the EWS page password:

Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.

• You can change the HP DeskJet 2600 Wi-Fi password setup by using the HP DeskJet 2600 printers control panel or embedded web server.
• Printer’s control panel: Select Administration settings or HP DeskJet 2600 printer Then choose Network settings, network setup or networking.
• Select Wireless Direct or Wi-Fi Direct , then choose Wireless Direct password or Wi-Fi Direct Password.
• The screen will get displayed where you can set or change the desired password
• Touch ok and choose the finish. The “settings were saved successfully” message will get displayed
