photo alignment

I am trying to print photos from my phone via the HP smart app, the preview looks ok but when i print its always off centre. is there a way to adjust alignment? i have selected the option for the photo size it gives me.

Welcome to the HP Community.

What you can do depends on the source of the misalignment.

For example,

If the shape of the photo simply does not match the shape of the paper, the photo might shift one way or the other.

If you have not done so,

If your particular type of phone supports the options to do so,

If merely setting the size of the photo does not help,

Edit the Print job to "Crop" the content to force that content into the shape you want.

Will that fix the "alignment"?

Maybe, though again, if the shape of the photo does not match the shape of the paper, there might be odd edges at one side or another...

For those reading:

Paper must be selected before the item to be printed is opened.

Next,

Open the item to be printed > Click to "Transform" the content (size)

Example - Select Size of photo on the (previously) selected paper
