I just got a new router, and needed to connect my printer to my new network. I have switched over all of my other devices, but when I input my network password, the printer tells me it is incorrect. I have tried it at least 50 times, with no luck. Since all of my other devices are connected, I know that the password I have been typing in is correct. I even downloaded the driver from online to connect to wireless, but got the same message. password incorrect. I am getting frustrated and not sure what to do next.

Hello, @valligator – Hope you are well 🙂
Thank you for engaging in HP Support Forums. I am glad to be of your assistance!
I understand your printer is not accepting the new router password. What type of encryption are you using on your router? Is this a WPA or WPA2 password? Please let me know.
Also, the printer will only connect to a 2.4 GHz network. /hence make sure the router network mode is set to 2.4 GHz.
If the issue persists, I'd suggest you to completely reset the printer. I am sending you a private message to perform the reset on your printer. Please click on the mailbox icon at the top-right corner to access your inbox.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!
Cheers 🙂

had the same issue with my HP photosmart 7520 and fixed it very simply. I noticed the error kept saying invalid WPA. Turns out, my modem settings had it as a WPA2. Changed it to WPA and it worked! Sharing to save people calls to the cable co. and modem changes.
