If the problem is one of the printer not having been updated to the new network's location and connection, the printer's Wireless login and information can be updated.

What if...
What if it is never going to work this way?
That is,
- Perhaps you do not have access to the "shared network" wireless password to connect your printer,
- You really don't want your personal printer connected to a publicly shared network with a bunch of people you do not know,
- For whatever reason, connecting to the shared network is not a solution you can use...
Try / Consider
If your printer supports the feature --
Wi-Fi Direct uses your printer's own wireless radio to talk to (connect with) the wireless radio in your device (computer, tablet, phone).
While Wi-Fi Direct is not useful for printers that need access to the Internet (Instant Ink subscribers, for example), this type of Wireless can suffice for local printing needs.
No Internet.
No Router.
No shared-network-blues.

What else?
HP Smart / HP App support this type of ad-hoc wireless Connection.
Your printer's own User Guide will likely -- if the feature is supported -- include a section on Wireless Direct / Wi-Fi Direct.
