Hi, I want to connect my HP Envy 4520 printer to my computer running macOS Mojave 10.14.3 but its not working. Pretty sure its possible because my roommate (printer owner) can do it. All the online steps say connect to wifi but we both use our phones as hotspots and the printer doesnt pick up my mobile hotspot. How can I do this without Wi-Fi?!

I believe you can use WiFi direct printing, WiFi direct will allow us to connect WiFi capable devices to an HP Printer without using a wireless router or access point. Instructions on how to print with WiFi direct can be found here.
