My printer shows up as an Internet connection in my iPad settings, but it wants a password.  Is there a factory default password?

Hi,

It sounds like you have enabled the wireless direct feature which allows your printer generate it's own wifi signal to which you can connect directly.  To get the password, hold down the wifi direct button for a few seconds and it should print out.

Alternatively you can turn the wifi direct off using the front panel button and connect both your mobile device and printer to the same wifi network to us eit in the traditional wirleless setup (which is the best approach if you have a home wifi network available).

Well how is the printer connected? Connected to your router?? No router? No data here.

That did it!  Thank you.  Now I will try to give all the approvals set up in here, kudos, whatever.
