Nothing is working with HP.  My printer won't log onto the network and the HP app won't load so I can't log onto my account to do a factory reset.  I am forced to cancel my subscription as I can't use the printer and have tried now for over a week to get it working.  I have tried all of the suggestions and nothing is working.

1. Printer Details

  • What’s the exact model of your HP printer (e.g., HP Smart Tank 580, OfficeJet Pro 9015)?
  • Is it a Wi-Fi-only model, or does it also support USB or Ethernet?

2. Network Environment

  • Are you trying to connect to a home Wi-Fi network or a work/school network?
  • Is the Wi-Fi network 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, or dual-band?
  • Have there been any recent changes to your router, network name (SSID), or password?

3. Printer Behavior

  • What exactly happens when you try to connect the printer to Wi-Fi? Any error messages or blinking lights?
  • Is the printer showing as offline or disconnected in the HP Smart app?

4. HP Smart App & Account Access

  • What device are you using to run the HP Smart app (e.g., Android phone, iPhone, Windows PC)?
  • What happens when you try to open the HP Smart app—does it crash, freeze, or fail to load?
  • Are you able to access your HP account via a browser at https://www.hp.com, or is that also blocked?

5. Subscription & Reset Attempts

  • Are you using HP Instant Ink or another subscription service?
  • Have you tried any kind of reset on the printer itself (e.g., network reset, partial reset), even without the app?
